In each menu there was a loop movie (short loop) in the display box. mov and also chapter markers by MetaDoctor (I had 14 scene selections) This is what I had on my iDVD test project for the above results:ġ9min movie, 720p, Quick time. Still, I got the "Multiplexer Error" again. But for the third try I did try to shorted some of the titles on the menu page and make sure it was within the tv safe area. I don't see how I can really pin point the actual reason for that error message. I looked it up and it could be an assortment of issues that could cause that.
It gave an error message for the first time: "Multiplexer Error". The first time iDVD just crashed as it did originally when I posted. However, I did the below tests and they failed. If this burns correctly, then it isn't the issue with the MetaDoctor software.Īlso, my previous test that was successful was done using the animated Confetti theme in iDVD and that worked also. ~ Do a new test dvd with a few more mini movies which I will encode one or two with chapter markers first using MetaDoctor. So, the issue must be one of these three things for my movie that I wanted to burn before:ġ) My movie is too long, even though I set the Project Info encoding to one that would fit (like Professional Quality).Ģ) I used a QuickTime movie file. I then played it in my blu-ray player on my HD large screen TV and all three movies played perfectly and look great. This worked! iDVD burned it to the DVD without a problem in Sierra. mp4 video was 720p, High Quality & Compress: Better. I just did a new test where I imported three very small videos (each under a minute) into one test iDVD project: the resolution isn't the issue after all.
